Washing & Detailing Services

Salt, sun, and humidity are relentless down here. We keep your vessel looking its best — from hull to helm, inside and out.

The Problem

The Florida Keys Are Hard on Boats

Between the salt air, UV exposure, and humidity that never lets up, a boat in the Keys oxidizes faster than almost anywhere else. Gel coat fades. Teak grays out. Waterline staining builds up before you know it. A consistent wash and detail schedule isn’t just about appearance — it’s one of the most cost-effective ways to protect the value of your vessel. We handle everything from routine weekly washes to full interior and exterior details, so your boat always looks the way it should when you arrive at the dock.

What We Do

How We Do It

01

Exterior Wash & Rinse

We start with a thorough freshwater rinse to remove loose salt and debris, followed by a marine-grade wash from bow to stern. Hull sides, topsides, gunwales, and all deck surfaces get cleaned properly — not just hosed off. We pay particular attention to scuppers, drains, and any areas where salt likes to hide and corrode.

02

Hull Scrubbing & Waterline Treatment

The waterline is where staining hits hardest. We scrub it down and treat discoloration from algae, mineral deposits, and oxidation. For vessels on a regular schedule, we keep it clean before it becomes a problem. For boats coming in needing more attention, we have the products and techniques to restore the line properly.

03

Brightwork & Teak Care

Stainless brightwork gets polished to remove water spots, salt haze, and oxidation. Teak is cleaned, sanded if needed, and oiled or sealed to stop the graying process. We don’t rush this part — teak that’s maintained properly lasts decades. Teak that’s left to weather looks rough within a season.

04

Interior Detailing

Cockpit, cabin, salon — we clean and condition every interior surface. Vinyl gets treated to prevent cracking in the UV. Carpet and upholstery are vacuumed and spot-cleaned. Helm stations, electronics surrounds, and cabinetry get wiped down. When we’re done, stepping aboard should feel like the boat just came out of the showroom.

05

Compound, Polish & Wax

For gel coat that’s faded or oxidized, we compound the surface to remove the dead layer, then polish to restore gloss and eliminate any remaining swirl marks or haze. A proper marine wax or sealant coat goes on last — protecting the finish from UV and making the next wash easier. This step makes a visible difference on any boat that’s been neglected, and maintains the look on boats that are already in good shape.

Why It Matters

Consistent Care That Pays Off

1

Protects Your Investment

A well-maintained finish holds resale value. Oxidized, stained gel coat is expensive to fully restore — routine upkeep is a fraction of the cost.

2

We Come to You

We travel across the Keys to wherever your vessel is docked. No hauling, no scheduling around a fixed location. We show up, we do the work.

3

Documented After Every Visit

We log each service visit and flag anything we notice — a developing stain, a surface that needs attention next time, or anything that looks off. You stay informed without having to be there.

4

Marine-Grade Products Only

We use products designed for the marine environment — not automotive shortcuts. The right compound, the right wax, the right teak oil. It makes a difference in how long results last.
