Wash & Wax
Salt settles on a yacht the moment it touches saltwater, and left alone, it slowly etches into gelcoat, hardware, and glass. A proper wash and wax removes it before it becomes a problem, and a protective layer of wax or sealant gives the surface something to shed the next round of salt and sun. It’s the foundation every other service builds on.
What’s Included
A complete exterior refresh, built to be repeated on a schedule rather than done once and forgotten.
A full hand wash from bow to stern using pH-balanced marine soap, followed by a chamois dry to prevent water spotting on glass and metal.
Dedicated scrubbing at the waterline where scum and growth build up fastest, using non-abrasive pads that won’t dull the gelcoat.
A hand-applied polymer wax or a longer-lasting synthetic sealant, selected based on how the yacht is used and how often it is washed.
Isinglass and window cleaning, stainless polish on rails and cleats, and a wipe-down of canvas and enclosures to keep everything looking sharp.

Yes, light spotting and surface oxidation typically come out in a standard wash and wax. Heavier, chalky oxidation needs our Gelcoat Restoration service instead.
Yes, canvas and clear enclosures get a wipe-down as part of the service. Deep canvas cleaning can be added for an extra charge if it’s heavily soiled.
No. Once we have dock access and a gate code or slip number, we handle the rest and send photos when it’s done.
